Le Port de Nouakchott rend hommage à ses dockers par une attribution de terrains
Le Port Autonome de Nouakchott a abrité, ce jeudi soir, une cérémonie de distribution de terrains au profit d’un groupe de dockers travaillant pour la société SOGETRAP, dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre d’un engagement du Président de la République, Monsieur Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, en faveur des catégories laborieuses.
Cette distribution vise à améliorer les conditions de vie des dockers, considérés comme une catégorie effectuant des efforts physiques pénibles dans des environnements de travail difficiles, dans le cadre d’une politique gouvernementale visant à promouvoir la justice sociale et à soutenir les personnes à revenu modeste.
La cérémonie s’est déroulée en présence du ministre de la Pêche et des Infrastructures maritimes et portuaires, M. El-Vedhil Ould Sidati, du ministre de la Fonction publique et du Travail, M. Mohamed Ould Soueidatt, ainsi que du Directeur général du port, M. Sidi Mohamed Ould Maham, en plus de représentants des secteurs concernés.
Les bénéficiaires ont exprimé leur gratitude pour ce geste, qu’ils ont qualifié de véritable soutien à leurs familles. Ils ont souligné que cette initiative constitue un encouragement moral important, tandis que les responsables ont insisté sur la dimension humaine et sociale de cette action.
